This is an excellent book. A must read at least once and perhaps many times over.

One of the best books out the for help for people who have lived with abuse and cannot get beyond forgiveness issues. It deals with issues that show you are not alone in your pain and how God is there in you midst and in your pain. One of the best books that I have read for counseling people dealing with past issues of pain.

The book was good but written for people who had suffered much more hurt than what I was looking for. Especially good if you were a victim of sexual abuse as a child. Written well and I did gain some great nuggets of insight. But the analogy I would use is the following: if my cut needed a band aid these cuts needed stitches.

Just starting the book but already I have been given some very helpful information on how to break the cycle of you being hurt and then you end up hurting other people.

Sandra Wilson has written a winner here. I read this book in 2004 and have decided to read it again. This book ministers and provides healing at the same time. It helps you to understand yourself and others.
